With our kitchen in need of a make-over and re-design, we received a number of visits and quotes from various people, but it was not until Michael’s visit that we knew we were in good hands and could not go elsewhere! At our initial consultation, Michael spent the time to listen and learn about us, our cooking habits, and our kitchen usage. From the moment we met Michael, my husband and I knew that he was the right person for our new kitchen renovation!

When he entered our family home, he was super excited to work with us. Our 70’s style kitchen was very small, dark and extremely hard to cook in.
My husband and I had no idea how to make it bigger and more chef friendly, so we asked Michael to get creative.
We a long chat about the nuisances of our kitchen, and what we love doing and want to do. In the end, the new design was exactly what we wanted and within our budget.

It feels like a new house, as we’ve built a new bright and spacious kitchen and dining space, with brand new appliances. It’s my favourite place in my house, and I love cooking and entertaining in it.

Our major issue was a lack of storage space which Michael quickly addressed, giving us a design that encompassed storage, bench space and so much more…. Michael and Brisbane Kitchens recently assisted us to change the way we live in our small house by opening up the kitchen/living area. In three weeks the old kitchen/laundry had gone and a new functional space had been created. No other company gave us any new ideas but Michael had the vision and it was very much appreciated. He has given me a new kitchen that is not only the envy of family and friends but is functional which makes it an absolute joy to use. He was attentive to our design quirks and after two weeks of deliberations we decided on an idea that we simply love.

I have a very small kitchen and Michael from Brisbane Kitchens was able to provide several options that I really had not considered possible for our kitchen. Michael completely understood what I was trying to achieve with the kitchen space and was able to practically expand on my ideas – and explain what would not be possible, in the nicest way. He patiently responded to my many questions and was so helpful in appliance suggestions that would work best for the kitchen. Michael went out of his way to achieve the best outcome for my kitchen from sourcing and working with suppliers to obtain a simple cabinet clasp that would work for my upper cabinets to bringing a sample of a new colour just released that he thought would work better than the original contrast colour selected. The end result is a fantastic, so much better functioning kitchen. It is hard to believe how much space I now seem to have compared to the original kitchen. Michael was always available to communicate with throughout the whole renovation process and nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely recommend Brisbane Kitchens for anyone considering an upgrade to their kitchen.

Our kitchen project was not the typical cut & replace, as our Queenslander afforded us the opportunity to increase the size of the kitchen space. Michael was engaged before our extension was started, his vision of the new space allowed us an insight into how the new kitchen would be used practically on a day to day basis. The value of this should not be underestimated given the transformation we were considering. Seemingly simple things to us now, the correct placement of all the services & major appliances required a major thought process to get right. The result of almost 3 months of renovation is astounding, the huge space that we have makes entertaining in the kitchen a breeze and the granite that we spent 8hrs getting into the house is just fabulous. Michael is easy to work with & made the whole process very straightforward.

Our recent kitchen renovations were a big commitment with Michael helping us feel confident in our decisions, providing insights and guidance. The delivery times were realistic and were on time and in some cases ahead. Our new kitchen has completely transformed our house. When we first thought of replacing our tired old kitchen with something more modern, we didn’t imagine how amazing it could look. Michael from Brisbane Kitchens had a vision of how to use the space more effectively, and came up with solutions that we had never considered nor thought possible. Where other kitchen companies stuck with the same old layout and modular sized everything, Michael’s customised design made more functional use of the space while making the kitchen look sleek and modern. We were given detailed information about pricing for all the different components of the kitchen and installation costs up front, so we were able to make informed choices about where to spend our money. The end result is a high quality, value for money kitchen, which will look good for years to come.

I was looking at options for a kitchen that I could buy and then have installed by a builder. Realising this process would be time consuming (and acknowledging the potential pitfalls of buying a kitchen that was inappropriate), I reconsidered and looked for a kitchen designer. I chose Brisbane Kitchens as they were owned and run from Brisbane. My ideas for the new kitchen were unclear in my mind and within 30 minutes, Michael had asked me enough questions to show me a design that I absolutely loved, but could not have explained before the meeting. From there, Michael organised for the final design, colour selection, cabinet construction and delivery. My kitchen looks great and I have been so satisfied with the personable and helpful service I have received from both Michael and his wife Deb (who runs the administrative side of the business). Regardless of question daftness, Michael has always been happy to respond to clarify anything in relation to the kitchen. Knowing what I do now about the logistics of kitchen choice and design, I am absolutely over the moon that I did not choose to go through the process alone.
